We all love Alameda County, but we also all know this county faces more than its fair share of challenges.

Appointed by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors in 2025 to assume the role of District Attorney, Ursula Jones Dickson has proven that she is a stabilizing force, an effective and credible leader, and a passionate advocate for the victims of crime. Her mission is to stay focused on the mission of the role of the District Attorney: to seek justice and make all of us safer.

A longstanding Alameda County Superior Court Judge and veteran Alameda County prosecutor, Ursula brings decades of experience to the District Attorney’s office, advocating for real justice delivered fairly and impartially.

Ursula is running for District Attorney in 2026, because she knows that public safety is a human right, and she has the vision to bring lasting change to our community.
